8th Grade Savannah Trip March 21-22, 2019
Our 8th grade students will be Savannah bound Thursday, March 21- Friday, March 22, 2019 for the annual Georgia Studies related field trip. Motor coaches will leave River Trail on Thursday morning (03/21/2019) at 6:00 AM and return on Friday evening (03/22/2019) at approximately 10:00 PM. The faculty and staff of RTMS will chaperone students. The tentative itinerary includes tours of historic Savannah via a trolley, hands-on activities at Old Fort Jackson; a visit to the First African Baptist Church, a Riverboat Dinner/Dance Cruise on the Savannah River, and much more! Please find attached the Savannah Parent Packet that includes all of the information about this exciting trip. Please remember, the paper copy permission form is due to the Georgia Studies teacher on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 and the deadline for registration and the first payment is Saturday, September 15, 2018
